D.J. DENSMORE and THE DENSMORE MEMORIAL TOURNEY
Edited by chess writers and problem composers Malcolm Sim, George Hume, and Alain C. White, this book had its genesis in a major tournament held in 1918 in honor of Densmore.
The book contains a biographical sketch of Densmore by Sim, a 62-page study of his problems by Hume, 54 further examples of his work, and 85 problems by various composers who had attended the Tourney.
Hardcover, issued without a jacket, 5.25″ X 7.25″, 239 pages plus two photos plates. An errata slip is laid inside.
